Our goal at The Lampworks is to ensure Customer Satisfaction by offering and representing our merchandise in an ethical and professional manner. We want our Customers to buy with confidence, knowing that we stand behind the merchandise that we offer.

We take great care when listing items for sale on our web site and for auction on eBay. We understand that a large portion of the decision making process - actually holding the item and evaluating it - is missing in the Internet marketplace. Therefore, we strive to ensure that item descriptions are complete and accurate and that the condition of the item is as described, especially if there are quality issues that may effect the value and/or collectibility of the piece.

Attribution of an item is made only when reasonable certainty as to is origin is known or can be researched. If you feel that there is uncertainty as to the authenticity of the piece, or if you are not comfortable purchasing or bidding on an item because of any other concerns, we urge you to contact us with specific questions about the item.

Occasionally, items will be sold with obvious damage, known defects, or missing pieces/parts. This will be clearly stated in the item's description.

All sales shall be subject to The Lampworks' Terms and Conditions of Use. If we make an error in the item description or overlook a significant condition or defect that lessens the value/collectibility of the item, we may allow the item to be returned under the following conditions:

1. The buyer must notify The Lampworks in writing within five (5) business days of his/her intent to return the item, stating the reason for the desire to return such item. The buyer's reason(s) for returning the item is not considered a valid factor if that factor was:

   1. specifically stated in the item's description or auction text or in information provided on this site,
   2. communicated to the buyer through email correspondence,
   3. communicated to the buyer through a telephone conversation, or
   4. could be implied by the absence of information indicating another state of facts.

2. After Return Authorization is made, the item must be returned within five (5) business days in the same condition as it was shipped from The Lampworks.

3. The buyer shall pay all costs associated with the return of the item. This includes, but is not limited to, boxes, packaging material, shipping charges, and insurance fees. The item must be insured when it is returned, even if the buyer opted not to purchase insurance when the item was originally purchased. We prefer that the item be returned in the original packaging, if possible.

4. If the item was purchased through eBay, any eBay charges incurred by The Lampworks in the transaction of the returned item (such as listing fee, final value fee, and special listing option fees) will be deducted from the refunded purchase price, at our discretion.
